JawaPos.com - After the TNI AD Health Center (PUSKESAD), now it's the turn of the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital to receive assistance with COVID-19 rapid antigen test kits from PT Neo Sarana Medika (NeoMed).A total of 10,000 Covid-19 rapid antigen test kits were handed over by NeoMed in its efforts to help deal with the Covid-19 pandemic.The assistance was symbolically handed over directly to NeoMed President Director Vicky Wirontono Susenio to the Head of the Gatot Soebroto RSPAD Hospital Lt. Gen. dr.A.Budi Sulistya, Sp.THT-KL., MARS ''This is very useful, we are very grateful for your dedication and attention. Donate this antigen test kit and this is an Indonesian product," said TNI Lt. Gen. Dr. Budi Sulistya at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital, Wednesday (5/1).According to him, currently the RSPAD still has a stock of 20,000 antigen test kits, but the need for these antigen test kits will continue to increase, having to separate negative and positive cases of Covid-19."Later on, this antigen test kit will be used for free for screening health workers and also for waiting patients," he added.Vicky Wirontono Susenio explained that his party had donated antigen test kits since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 to East Java Province and also to BNPB."From the beginning of Covid, NeoMed has provided assistance to East Java through Governor Khofifah and also BNPB," he explained.For the past two months, NeoMed has also distributed antigen test kits and other medical equipment worth Rp20 billion to various regions in Indonesia.Then, can the donated antigen test kit also detect the Omicron variant of Covid-19?“We have done clinical trials in China and several places in Southeast Asia, we have sent samples and it can detect Omicron.We're just going to do more clinical trials with more samples," he explained.(*)Watch the following interesting video:© PT Jawa Pos Multimedia Group
